About Anthony Molinaro
Founder of MusicXT

Anthony Molinaro is a dedicated music educator, multi-instrumentalist, author, and producer who has centered the Dalcroze approach at the core of his teaching philosophy. With over 17 years of experience in public school classrooms across the United States, he pioneered the establishment of an authentic Dalcroze classroom at his elementary school in North Western Pennsylvania.

Anthony holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from Carnegie Mellon University, where he currently serves as the Eurhythmics instructor at the Preparatory Academy and guest lecturer. He is a highly sought-after clinician and presenter, having featured at prestigious events such as the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA), Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) and Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) state conferences, district-level professional development

workshops, and American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA) chapter events across the region. His leadership in the field extends to his roles as former board chair and treasurer of the Dalcroze Society of America, and as a presenter at multiple national and virtual conferences, including the International Conference of Dalcroze Studies in 2023, where he conducted the Demonstration Lesson.

The author of several book chapters and articles, Anthony co-authored Make It Music: Dalcroze Strategies for Every Classroom, released to broad acclaim in 2025. This innovative resource brings Dalcroze principles into mainstream music education spaces and provides tools for teachers to incorporate creative movement work into their curriculum, no matter their experience level.

 

In addition to his work in the classroom, Anthony has developed educational content for Music ConstructED and QuaverEd, including a series of Dalcroze-based lessons that are accessible to millions of students. His podcast, The New Dalcrozian, has gained international recognition with listeners in over 48 countries. His SubStack newsletter, MusicXT - Moments and Movement, offers subscribers regular insights into his career and the Dalcroze approach, enriched with instructional videos and other resources designed for public school settings.
